Friendly Fraud

Overview

Friendly Fraud occurs when a user who truly wanted to purchase your products falsely reports the transaction as fraudulent to their bank, thereby resulting in a chargeback.

How does DyScan Protect help?

We redact and store credit card images after processing them through our fraud models. You can then access these redacted images through our Reviews API, and use these images as evidence in chargeback disputes to show the issuing bank that a real, physical card was present during the transaction.
